03/19/09 - Intrathecal Chemo #6
Each time I get Intrathecal Chemo, some CerebroSpinalFluid (CSF) is drawn off to make room for the chemo drug. It is examined microscopically for spread of cancer cells.
I've started this site as a means to keep family, friends and co-workers updated on the status of a brain tumor that I was diagnosed with on August 23, 2006. It will certainly be a work in progress, but I hope that it will provide people with relevant information and feedback. Note that I don't claim to have the expertise of a Doctor, this site just reflects my opinions and personal experiences.

Mark,
Just checking in and reading about your headaches. I'm praying they'll go away for you. Do you think it is the chemo or maybe the unrelenting mayhem going on over at B.M.'s house? Things can get awfully stressful when you have such a high roller in residence.
Mark,
You should have called Big Ed for help. He knows what to do when you are incoherent!
Hang in there buddy! You have a lot of people praying for your speedy recovery!!
Melvin
Fred,
I think all the commotion from my sockelebrity is getting to him.
Fred,
Thanks! Yeah, they were incredible, along with the incohorence... They haven't returned, so I hope they're gone.

Melvin,
Big Ed for assistance. Not a bad reference, from his PAST experiences. We can't do those things now... Unfortunately!
