11/05/09 - Avastin 2.1

Posted 11/06/09. The Avastin treatment went well. The whole thing takes about an hour, not including the wait. I will find out what it does to my blood counts in future tests...

11/04/09 - Treatments...

I've been having my blood counts tested twice a week for the past three weeks. They have risen enough to try Avastin again. Avastin is the drug that prevents blood vessel growth. It had been working on my spinal tumor for the last MRI. Its given every two weeks, so this will probably be like almost starting again.

I go for my first treatment tomorrow, 11/5. We'll see how they turn out...
