09/15/09 - Intrathecal 2.2

Last night, I had intrathecal chemotherapy 2.2 delivered at Moffitt. It went well and there were no issues. No pictures, as they would be redundant, and we didn't take any... I'll receive another dose tomorrow. Once again, my calendar to the right tends to list my medical appointments. It is usually the most accurate source of information, because it is easy to update. :)

Once again....WOW!!! You have a lot going on, Mark. The best news is that Big Monkey is monitoring all of this. Hopefully his notes are legible; obviously they are, or you wouldn't be able to post all these details. Good news on the tumors, too. Also a good thing they are ridding of them anyway!

We are saying big-time prayers in that these latest treatments are working perfectly and you will gain some healthy news. Great news on the steriod elimination....

As always...you still look great! Your attitude is what keeps you so picture perfect, we're sure.

By the way, one of our Cocoa friends is presently at Moffitt getting chemo treatments for her leukemia. Her name is Gladys McGee and is in Room 401. Has been there 2 weeks and will be there a total of 30 days. If you get a chance on your next visit, take big Monkey by and see if his smile makes her laugh.

Take care, dear one!

Mary,

Thanks for your comment. I will try to see your friend sometime. Small world, but unfortunate circumstances...

Jo Anna,

Things are going well right now, but I suppose there is going to be a switch thrown soon...

Thanks,
