Wednesday, October 4th Update

Yesterday Mark was released from Moffitt. He has been relocated to a rehabilitation facility called Health South in Largo. Mark will be participating in physical and occupational therapy during his time at Health South. We hope that his stay there will be brief and that he will be able to come home soon. Karl and Big Monkey miss him!

Mark,

good to see you up and around. Looks like they are keeping you busy which is probably a good thing. If they don't, I have a feeling that a number of electrical "adjustments" could be made to their facilities without their knowledge. Thanks to everyone for keeping us posted. We check this blog a lot to see how everyone is doing. Recover quick!

Laura and Mark, Thanks for the update. My Mom has been filling me in after her conversations with Laura as well. We continue to think about you and are happy to hear things are going well. We keep checking in daily. Lots of love being sent your way! Lisa and family!!

It's so good to see Mark "hard at work" in his progress to get better. We know he is trying very hard to go forward and we all are with him during this forward movement.

Before we know it, he'll be home with Laura, Big Monkey, Karl and the newly added "family member" (whatever the new name is).

The Gregory Clan continues to pray for Mark and ALL his family and friends while this healing takes place.

Much love,
Mary and Bill

Mark,

That "video game" you're playing in the photo is not going to improve with a larger monitor or additional electrical "enhancements." You look like you have the hang of it already, anyway.

We here in Colorado don't really understand the monkee thing or yours and Laura's preoccupation with Penn State's football team. Isn't Papa Joe 120 years old or something. Give it up, man!

You look great in the pics, but honestly, we prefer the cat. He looks as though he misses you! His sitting style is great!

Too bad Marg is so computer challenged. She actually demanded the other day that I "write" her, whatever that is??? I'm supposed to send photos or something. (She still has vinyl records at home -- did you know that? -- of Frankie Avalon and The Letterman. Maybe we could sell them on e-bay.)

I like this blog thing, but really, I can't be trusted. I could just rave on all night.

We sincerely hope you're feeling better and coming up to speed. I can relate on a small scale, as after an auto accident of a few years back I definitely was compromised. I couldn't put together full sentences, and forgot words, appointments and sometimes whole conversations. I did wonder if I would ever "come back" and I did, although it took some time. It's hard to wait for these things to occur, especially when you're not all that patient, which some would describe me as.

As to those as*****oles who "liked me better when I didn't talk so much" (because I couldn't really talk properly right after the accident, damnit!) -- well, they're kind of on the second page now, if you get my drift! I DID remember who they were!

Keep the faith and love from

Bill and Cheryl in Colorado

Ahoy Matey. Captain Blue Beard hear from PSU. Anxiously awaiting the PSU-Michigam game while sipping on a little rum. Glad to see you up and around. The eye patch thing has got to go. Looks like you are in line to get into Chumleys! Well, happy to see you making your way back. Hope to see you soon. Keep strong and work hard. See you soon.
